Nestled at the end of Long Tail in Suamico, Wisconsin is a little bit of beach that you would confuse with Florida. Waves crush along the shore as the fluffy sand squashes between your toes. Making it the perfect spot for a Suamico beach engagement. When I asked Savannah where she wanted her engagement photos and all she said was “I love your water photos!”. I then told her I had the PERFECT spot in mind.
There are so many words I can write on this page . Savannah and I met 5 years ago when she showed up in a short dress in the mind of February for a photo shoot. I like to believe that fate led us together because since that day, she was been my ride or die. She was the first person I wanted to tell I found out I was pregnant. Whenever something happens in life, I run to her. To vent, cry, celebrate or just share news; it is always Sav that I turn to first. She quickly went from someone I knew to my best friend in a matter of weeks. She was the only person who believed in my when I started my business. She even promoted me when no one else would. We have leaned on each other in the toughest of times and I always told her to stop looking for love. It will happen when you least expect it.
Cue Sean. The cute boy at indoor soccer that tried to talk to her, but she ignored. He was the one that busted his way into her heart when she least expected it. He is the most selfless person and showed her every day the love and respect he has for her. I remember when we were sitting on a boat in the middle of Tennessee (the first time) and Sean was at home painting the living room. I truly could not have picked a more perfect man to love my best friend for the rest of her life.
I have watched through a lot of tears over the years as Savannah searched high and low for you Sean. Telling me she was never going to find the person she was going to marry. Heck she even tried settling for less than she deserved a few times. I am pretty sure Megan and I would have NEVER let it happen but it was difficult to watch. We needed someone like you to love her. Someone that was going to respect her and treat her as an equal. Not hired help, not a financial savior but someone who would love her and support ALL of her hopes and dreams. Thank you Sean. Thank you for loving my best friend.
Sav and Sean, I told you I could write about you both forever but just a few more words and I will let you get to your Suamico beach engagement sneak peeks. First to Savannah, I love you more than you will ever know. You are the sister I didn’t know I needed in my life. I want you to know that you found your one. Your soulmate. You always said you wanted what Andy and I had and you have it. In the man you are about to make your husband in a year. I want you to keep a few things in mind. First, love him unconditionally. Marriage and life are a test and every day you need to wake up and understand that it won’t always be a cake walk but you have the BEST person by your side. Your best friend, your love, your soulmate. And Sean, thank you for being her adventure buddy, boating sidekick and most of all, the love of her life. And I want you to know that if she ever gets on your nerves, you send her to me and Andy and you can go golfing. I just want you both to remember on thing, at the end of the day, all you have is each other and family. Love both with everything you got!
I love you both so dearly and I may have cried writing this but I just love you both!
Love, Camille <3
PS – Enjoy the sneak peeks.
PPS – it wouldn’t be a Camille blog without a typo or something that doesn’t make sense. Just know its the longest blog I have written to date.
