Crispy mountain air hit their faces as the chair lift brought they lower and lower at Blacktail mountain. The Montana mountain line was a breathtaking view as they read their vows to one another. Their voices carried on the wind as a whisper. No-one but the trees to hear their spoken vows. The sun just now peaking over the top of the neighboring mountains. Trying to get the last glimpse of the newly married couple at their Blacktail Mountain summer wedding.
Riley and Gage actually met at a Best Buy where they were both working as they went to school. After a while, what was working together became a relationship. And as Gage’s college roommate and best man would say, he went “cougar hunting”! I think at the end of the day, Gage could NOT have found a more perfect girl for him. They are both super adventurous, obsessed with their doggie and most importantly, surrounded by the love and support of BOTH of their families!
Riley and Gage, I CANNOT thank you enough for two things. One, trusting me with your wedding day. I remember Riley telling me at the end of the night that it felt like I was in her head. She would be in a moment and think “man I hope she gets this photo” only to look over and see me doing just thank. The actuality of it was that I felt more like family than anything else. Both your families and friends opened their arms and hearts to me and that alone makes shooting a wedding that much easier. Secondly, THANK YOU for giving me the best version of Montana I have ever seen. Being from the Midwest, we don’t see a ton of mountains so shooting a wedding at the top of one, will be the HIGHLIGHT of my career. Thank you times a million. I will stop typing and let you get to the good stuff. Enjoy the very FEW sneak peeks from your BIG day!
LOVE, Camille!
PS – You owe me a Packer game Gage. Don’t forget;)
