Sturgeon Bay Engagement | Clint + Maddie

The breeze washed its way across their faces as they snuggled in closer on the pier in Sturgeon Bay for their engagement session. Sail boats made their way out of the canal, forging into Lake Michigan. The sun played peek-a-boo from the clouds. Fading in and out. Giving off the perfect level of warmth as we stood on the breakwater. The trademark red lighthouse stood in the background. Signifying the entrance into Sturgeon Bay from Lake Michigan. A tugboat pushed in a cargo ship. Making its way into the heart of Sturgeon bay as Clint and Maddie took in their surroundings during their engagement session.

Maddie and Clint met me at the Sturgeon Bay Lighthouse. At the entrance of the Sturgeon Bay Canal for their engagement session. Giving them both the beauty of the water along with the stunning fall colors of Door County during fall time. I think their laughter could be heard from miles away as they sat in the grass. Sharing some funny stories and name for different parts of their body. We will chalk that up as an inside joke for now. But regardless, Maddie and Clint were such a joy to photograph. Especially because they decided that whatever challenge I threw their way, they were going to take it head on!

Clint and Maddie, I think my side hurts still to this day from laughing so hard during your engagement session. You not only picked one of my favorite spots but you also went along with my crazy ideas. I am super sad that I am down editing your session because I just loved it so much!
