As the sun shined down on Meghan and Kevin, they stood surrounded by family and friends in Meghan’s parent’s backyard in Oshkosh for their wedding day. They had all those who mattered the most surrounding them. Parents, grandparents and siblings watched on as they said “I Do” to forever.
COVID has brought a lot of change to this world and has disturbed events throughout the first half of this year. Meghan and Kevin were suppose to get married in April of 2020 but then the whole state went into a lockdown. One day, Meghan emailed me asking if I had plans on the 27th of June. Since COVID was shutting down weddings left and right, I have the day free. And man am I glad I did. I got to witness the most beautiful Oshkosh backyard wedding between even two more beautiful souls.
Want to know what sticks out the most to me about this couple? It is the fact that Kevin’s first interaction with Meghan was telling her that the lavender in her photo was pretty. He completely ignored her. And clearly, his drunken pick up line worked because they are now husband and wife!
Kevin and Meghan, THANK YOU soooooo much for letting me be at your big day and witness you becoming husband and wife. I know if wasn’t the wedding you had originally dreamed up but at the end of the day, I think it was the perfect wedding for you both! You were surrounded by your family and the weather could have not been more perfect. Enjoy a few favorites from your beautiful Oshkosh backyard wedding!
Love as always, Camille!
