The last leaves of fall were hanging on tightly to the trees. The sun stuck behind the clouds casting over Sturgeon Bay. Debbie and Jeremy snuggled deeper into each other. Fighting off the chill in the air. Jeremy leaned into Debbie and started whispering in her ear. Talking about how perfect a car driver was on his favorite show. Her laughter echoed around us. Trailing itself onto the wind. The boys were running around in the background. Picking up all the colorful leaves.
Debbie and Jeremy are my kind of people. They laugh at the dirtiest of jokes. Obsess over the best fast foods (except for Arby’s). They willing have a date with me at Culvers where I am the third wheel. Both of them have the corkiest sense of humor and they are not afraid to be who they truly are. They wanted somewhere unique for their engagement photos and after my three different options, I finally settled on the walkway in front of stone harbor resort in Sturgeon Bay. It gave the industrial vibe with the rustic elements of Door County. We also got a crazy sunset out of it all at the very end where Debbie insist on pushing my limits to see how strong my flash game is. Needless to say, I don’t think I disappointed her on that front.
Debbie and Jeremy, thank you for bringing your family along for our adventure in Sturgeon Bay for your engagement session. Although it was chilly, you got the very last leaves of fall. Enjoy a few sneak peeks from your engagement session in Door County!
