The water rushed against the breakwater on the Algoma pier. Fishing boats making their way in as we walked slowly out to the end. A seagull cried out overhead as the sun began to fade. We wanted to get closer to the Algoma lighthouse. Making out way across a narrow piece of breakwater. Out to the very edge to get the perfect angle.Taking off her heels, Steph slowly toed her way against the thin strip of breakwater. Knowing that at the other end, the beautiful Algoma Lighthouse will highlight their perfect engagement session.
Have you ever met someone and knew you would be instant friends. Like everything about them seemed right. That is exactly how I felt when I met Steph and Ryan at the Algoma Lighthouse for their engagement session. It was like right away we clicked. We were cracking jokes and making each other laugh constantly. Ryan has a very similar sense of humor as me so we kept batting jokes back and forth without a single misstep in our conversation. And Steph, where do I even begin! First off, we have the same jean size. Yes, you read that right. We have the same jean size. I know this because she is wearing my jeans in part of their engagement session. And I feel like the true feeling of a friendship starts when you offer up your pants to help someone out.
Ryan and Steph, being able to photograph your engagement at the Algoma Lighthouse was a dream come true. Not only did we all get to explore a new place together but I think we forged a new friendship at the same time. These photos don’t do justice to what a wonderful couple you are. I already know your wedding in Punta Cana will be perfect! Thank you for letting me celebrate your engagement with you and enjoy a few sneak peeks from your e-session!
Love Camille.
