Whitney & Kurt | Dells of Eau Claire

Do you ever hear the rush of water and feel the urge to dip your toes in. The Dells of Eau Claire gave me that feeling. That urge to dip my toes in the water. Except my foot slide on the bottom and I decided to dip my whole legs into the water…..

Finding a unique spot to celebrate your engagement is kind of my jam. Especially when its somewhere I have never been. When I met Whitney and Kurt, Whitney described somewhere that was outdoorsy but unique. So off I went. Hunting down her perfect spot. Which lead me to the Dell of Eau Claire and wet pants.

When I think about how epically awesome Whitney and Kurt are, all I think about is them laughing. Now I know I tend to me a little bit crazy during sessions and trying cracking you up. But with these two, it was so much better.

First, in my attempt to walk through a raging river without dying, my foot slipped on the bottom as I tried to avoid the current that was pushing me downstream. I scaled back up the rock cliff with these two laughing at me. Cue the wet pants. Like wet skinny jeans up to mid thigh. But I am someone that will do anything for a great shot, including wading through water. So right off the bat, I have them laughing at me. I am cool with this.

Next, I decide Whitney needs a good giggle and enlisted the help of Kurt. I think she made it like three words into his sentence and busted out laughing.

Finally, we shared our obsessive love for shoes. Oh and I don’t mean any shoes. But none other than Briks. I even got extra excited when I realized that Kurt was wearing Hey Dudes (shout out to my hubby who loves these things). But I think the icing on the engagement fiesta cake was when Whitney decided to forge her own path and stepped into mud. Like dead into it. Whitney, Kurt and I promise that we were only laughing with you:)

All in all, I don’t think I have had that much fun in a long time. Even my belly ached after all was said and done. But don’t you all worry your pretty little heads, we definitely found out just how beautiful the Dells of Eau Claire truly is. Enjoy some killer photos from Whitney and Kurt’s adventure with me!
