He drew in a deep breath. Struggling with the next set of words. His eyes glistened with tears. He stared into his beautiful daughter-in-laws face. His hands were shaking as he gripped the microphone. He was telling their story from his viewpoint. One day he was visiting his son and his son’s girlfriend. He had ended up in their bedroom in pursuit of the bathroom but stopped short. Surrounding the edge of the mirror stuck post it notes. All of them significant. Each detailing why they loved each other. Bits of encouragement. Moments of happiness. Frozen to the spot, he realized that he wasn’t meeting the girl his son was dating, rather the girl his son would marry some day. Because that mirror filled with post it notes were a foundation laid for not only a strong relationship, but strong marriage.
Aaron and Krista are extraordinary people. Aaron’s constant ability to make you laugh causes an entertaining day. Whether he is quoting Letterkenny or staring at a boat wheel, he will having you cracking up. He is always trusting in whatever I say even when it is asking him to express his emotion only by touching Krista’s face. And Krista, where do I even begin. You have a smile that absolutely lights up every room you walk into. You are so compassionate and caring and this world needs more beautiful souls like yours.
Aaron and Krista, the horrible wait is over. I couldn’t hold back those photos anymore but first I want to thank you again for allowing me to be apart of your special day. I am so happy that I was able to capture the beauty that surrounded your whole wedding day. SOOO without any further wait, please enjoy a FEW favorites from the day.
Love Camille
