Justine & Ruben | Backstage at the Meyer
The sun poured down on us as music made its way to our ears. The slow melody of a song filled the air by a single voice. Tucked between two building, we hid from the sun. The Backstage at the Meyer hovered around the corner. Suddenly, that single voice turned into four. Pouring from the mouths of the boy band standing on the corner. As we watched we realized that the boy band was actually Ruben and his groomsmen. They were singing back to the solo vocalist that was serenading us from the opposite corner. Harmonizing like they have done numerous times before. As we watched from the side, we giggled as the boys continued their concert for everyone. There album launches in November in time for Christmas ( don’t worry, we have the CD cover ready!)

I met Ruben and Justine over a year ago after they won a photoshoot with me. We met up at Cave Point to take their engagement photos and instantly hit it off. There is no matter way to describe it than the fact that I consider these two my friends. Ruben is probably the funniest person I have met. He will make you laugh instantly. He also enjoys singing to you by request. But sometimes you have to put on a slow 90’s jam for him to really belt it out! He is now the husband to the beautiful Justine. I am not quite sure where to start about Justine except that I am so happy that we met through a mutual friend. You have helped me in a styled shoot where your work was outstanding and your compassion for everything you do is equally amazing. Justine has a smile that instantly makes the room so much brighter.
Justine and Ruben, thank you so so so so very much for letting me capture your wedding day. I am happy to be there from the moment before you walk down the aisle until you are doing the wobble on the dance floor. You both deserve all the happiness this world has to offer.
