She wandered down the stairs. Each little foot hit the step with enough force to echo in the house. In her hands, she cradled her books to her chest. Placing them on the ground. She looked at them with pride. I asked her to pick out her favorite. To read the story to me. Her eyes scanned back and forth on the books. Trying to decide which story she loved more than the next. Her fingers glide over each book. Carefully deciding the right one. Finally, she grabbed a hold of her choice. Turing it around, she showed me the princess book in her hand.
Family is important to me. It is the moments I get to see my nieces and nephew doing something amazing. It is when I get to watch them play soccer or run around the gym. I am so proud of my brothers and the families they have been blessed with. Everyone always laughs at us because my brothers and I all married our high school sweethearts. I guess we just got lucky. These girls are my oldest brother, Justin’s, world. He would do absolutely anything to put that smile on their faces. My sister in law, Krystal, is the glue that holds them together. She is so giving and kind. Her morals are unmatched by most and they have raised two beautiful girls that represent the same values. To say I am proud of my siblings is an understatement.
Justin and Krystal, I hope that these photos remind you to cherish the little moments. The ones where no one else is around. It’s a snapshot of the girl’s youth. When their little giggles fill the house up. And your house is now a home. Enjoy a few favorites from your family lifestyle session!
Love your little sister, Camille
