If you know anything about me, you know that Door County is my home away from home. With wonderful shopping and some of the best restaurants I have eaten at, it is the one place that is pure relaxation. When McKenzie and I were discussing spots for their engagement photos and she described exactly what she wanted, I couldn’t help but to bring up both Cave point and Whitefish Dunes. Nestled along the shoreline of Lake Michigan, they are both beautiful locations for a perfect engagement session. I knew it had to be perfect because I was doing it for one of my absolute best friends:) The only girl who can dance to “Shake it off” with me on repeat, about 20 times in a row.
McKenzie and I grew up together in the same neighborhood. She is the one who babysat me which meant she waited for me to wake up and then we played with our Bratz dolls. The first person who was their when I started my lemonade stand which we strategically placed next to a stop sign. She was their on my wedding day when I promised my husband forever. When I started photography, she was my first model:). Mckenzie trusted me enough to capture such an important time in her life. She is more like a sister to me then anything else and I can’t wait to watch her say “I Do” in September of 2019 as I stand by her side. She is so sweet and kindhearted and she deserves the happiness that Tyler brings her. I even remember the first time she told me about Tyler. I remember thinking that he would get along with Andy. They are both rugged outdoorsy types so I instantly approved;)
Mckenzie and Tyler, you deserve a lifetime of happiness together. It makes me extremely happy to watch you two laugh and enjoy life together as Mckenzie pretends she is on Baywatch and runs on the beach. Here are a few favorites from your engagement session in Door County!
Love always, Camille
