He smiled at the last bridesmaid. He knew that the next person to walk down the aisle would be the person who would become his wife. His heart beat went wild. Ringing through his ears. He glanced down at the chapel’s red carpet. Imagining how stunning she would look in her wedding dress. The crowd shifted and began to rise. He glanced up and saw the most beautiful woman in the room. His imagination did not do justice to the woman walking down the aisle toward him. She sent a small smile his way. He could feel the tears rimming his eyes, not being able to hold back how much love he was feeling in that second. She was all his and we couldn’t wait until they said I do. He couldn’t wait to become a husband. Couldn’t wait to have her as his wife.

It was such a sight, to be able to watch John and Lisa become husband and wife. In talking to them both, they have waiting for this day for a long time. I could tell how excited Lisa was as I stood with her as she got ready. The way she would fluff her dress or the deep breathes she would take. John was equally as excited. But the best part was watching how they both lite up during their portrait session. How they stole little kisses in between poses and how he would not let her go.
