Dave’s Falls Surprise Proposal | Alex & Kelsey

It was a slow walk onto the wooden bridge at Dave’s Falls that Sunday night. The loudness of the rapid below echoed throughout the park. The last of the sun was setting. Slowing turning into dusk. His heart beat sped up. Beating wildly in his chest. He held her hand tightly, feeling the softness of her palm. They reached the center of the bridge where he turned and faced her. The woman he loved. The one his soul burned for. His hand shakes with the tremor of nerves. He kept trying to take deep breathes. Reminding himself that this was it. He looked down into her beautiful blue eyes. He took a deep breath. And dropped the ring right into the water below. Her eyes grew wide in fear as she watched it plummet toward the rapids.

“The woman he loved. The one his soul burned for.”

He turned his face back toward hers. The shock written all over her face. So he grabbed both of her hands and got down on one knee. He looked right back into those beautiful blue eyes and spoke from his heart as he asked the woman he loved, the one he wanted to spend his life with, if she would marry him.

Are you still wondering what happened to the ring? Don’t you worry, you see, Alex enjoys a good joke and of course decided what was funnier then dropping a fake ring into the water! So do not fear, the real ring remains on Kelsey’s finger.

The proposal was perfect. Alex and I had coordinated prior to their session in order to make sure that everything was timed right. I could tell from the moment he got me on the phone that he was madly in love with Kelsey. The way he talked about her and how extremely excited he was to ask her to marry him. He could hardly contain his excitement although we played if off like we had never met before. Alex and Kelsey’s love burns brighter than most loves and I cannot wait to watch their love story continue
