I got the pleasure of capturing Nick and Becca’s engagement photos at Chase Stone Barn in Pulaski. I first met Becca at BODE bootcamp where we quickly bonded over our past marathons that we ran. If you have ever seen two people who both run connect on marathons, you will understand, the conversation never ends. Becca was so easy to connect with that it was no surprise that Nick was as easy going. But one thing I noticed right away was the love between them. Both of your eyes just sparked when they looked at each other. Becca, your smile was contagious, something that could not be contained. She also could not keep her eyes off Nick. The man she loved. The man she would be calling her husband in July.
They wanted a very rustic setting so I suggested Chase Stone Barn. It is the perfect blend of the rustic elements of the historically rock sided barn with the bright red doors along with the country feel of the tall grass and fields that surrounded it. I do not think we could have found a location that suited them better, especially when the cowboy boots came out! Yes I said it, cowboy boots. If you know me, you definitely know my eyes lit up. It was like surprising me with a day in Door County! And to put the perfect end to this session, the sun decided to make an appearance to give us the perfect golden hour.
Nick and Becca, it was so much fun to watch you two from behind my camera lens. I loved the little kisses you sneaked in when you thought I wasn’t looking or the looks you shared. Its like sometimes you two were in your only little bubble and the rest of the world could not enter. So I watched and saw how beautiful your love is. It flows through you both and can be felt by those around you. I can not wait to watch you say “I Do” in July! Here are a few favorites from your session!
